I was introduced with Enrique. I shook his hand, and he introduced
his name “Hi Taylor, I'm Enrique. Nice to meet you.”
He had a warm voice and touch. His brown eyes shone when the
lights of disco lamp ball hit his eyes like sparkle. I suddenly remembered
Steph and Enrique's dancing, and said to myself that he really loved Steph and
vice versa. Steph was never wrong to choose a man to be dated, not like me.
Hmm..
After shaking hand with Enrique, I was introduced with curly brown
haired man again now because he forced Stephanie to allow him. She looked not
happy with the idea of me being around him.
From what I saw, Harry seemed like some player. I hated to admit
that he had pretty good features, making me a bit shy and nervous. C'mon Tay,
Ronald was hotter than this guy. You knew that.
His hand shook my hand gently. “Hi again. My name's Harry,
Tay-Tay,” a smirk was plastered in his face as he said that. Such a creepy.
“Yeah you know me because your eyes keep staring at mine since
minutes ago, Harry. I really am knowing that,” I said, rolling my eyes.
“Don't mess with this girl, Harry,” Steph and Enrique said, and
both of them then smirked to each other.
Oh God, couldn't this couple be cuter than this?
We chatted for some minutes, and then a guard that brought me here
came and whispered something to Enrique's ear. That guard then left with giving
me a wink. Harry gave him a glare.
Enrique said to Steph with intense gaze, “Babe, Clamshells,
Schusters and some friends have come.”
“Okay, but—, I can't leave my friend here all alone,” Steph said
while looking at me. She held my hand and I smiled at her.
I was about to speak when that Harry guy cut me in, “Am I ghost,
Stephy? Enrique, just bring her go to meet 'em. And, don't ever tell them I was
there,” and continued, “But, if you meet Will alone, tell him don't make me
wait and meet me asap.”
“You talk too much. You're so annoying, Harry,” I said as a
response, making Steph and Enrique chuckled.
“It's not that Stephanie doesn't trust you, Harry,” Enrique
stated. He stared his eyes to his girlfriend's and continued, “She just yeah,
you know. You are too kind to women, including female friends of hers.”
Harry just shrugged his shoulders, so did Steph. I knew Steph too
well. She didn't want any bad thing happened to her friends.
“Be careful of Harry, Tay,” Steph said and continued, “And, fyi,
Jack Reed is gonna perform in any minute!!!! Prepare yourself guys, he may or
may not perform his soon to be single!”
“See ya at the dance floor!” Steph screamed and left with Enrique
resting his left hand around his waistline.
I smiled to them and went back to my wine. Harry sat in his seat
again, two seats on my right. He drank his beer without losing his eyed on me.
I smirk and said, "Go to the corner and find chicks, Harry. It's better
than just keep checking me out."
He laughed, but then his phone rang. I could hear the ringtone
even the loud music was still played. I drank my wine again and nodded to the
beat of the music. Tropical house always sounded so good.
“I've told you not to call me this time because I couldn't hear
you properly. Just come to the bar, Will,” he shouted as if the loud music
annoyed him.
The fact was that he could talk with me and the couple minutes ago
didn't help him. Did he love screaming that much?
I rolled my eyes and decided to take my phone from my bag. I bit
my lips when I saw some chats on Whatsapp from Ron and many missed calls from
Ashley and Austin—my younger brother. I chose to open the chats from Ron first,
and I might call Ashley and my brother tomorrow.
No way they heard this kind of loud music around me and found out
I was at a night club. I didn't want they you know that and decided to tell my
mom. I never wanted my mom to know where I was right now.
Baby:
Have a pleasant dream, babe. See you tomorrow night. x
Baby:
Sleep?
Baby:
Taylor Swift
Baby:
Babe
Baby:
I'm on my way to the club, babe. Whatcha' doing tonight?
I smiled. I didn't reply him. I would surprise him in backstage
and spend some wild night with him over at his place. He should bring me to
this place. I would force him this time, not taking no. I smiled at this wild
thought.
I put my phone on the counter and drank my wine again and again
because I thought I loved the liquid now. Ugh, I might be a lil' drunk. I
didn't realize until I had finished 1/2
bottle by myself. Oh I couldn't keep my word not to be drunk tonight.
“Haz!” a man screamed with a husky voice on my back. I could hear
his steps, passing me to Harry.
"How can fuckboy like you didn't bring any girl this time?
Bored, huh?" Harry said with laughed.
I decided not to join this conversation. I distracted myself with
talking to bartender who somewhat had an attractive smile even I could still
hear shits that they spoke.
“I have no idea, Haz. That chick has no interest to me. She even
said that she preferred my brother than to date with me, because he has more
money,” that man stated.
Harry chuckled and replied him, “That bitch loves money of course.
And she still tries to call me and even comes to my place.”
“But, yeah, even she wanna date him, I'm sure she will end up to
give in and will be back to you,” the man responded and continued, “Not to
mention she loves your money and your face too.”
“I still like her company though,” Harry mumbled.
The man laughed and said, “You love pretty chicks anyway,”
There was a silence between them for a minute. The man who came to
Harry ordered whiskey in between Harry's seat and mine to bartender who was
talking to me, yeah I didn't hear what things he said though.
I was still in my position, when that man who waited his order to
come saw me. He was about to say something to me before—again—Harry cut in.
“But, I just get new idea to distract her, Will,” Harry said
confidently.
That man turned his head to Harry and replied, “You say as if that
will work out. Have heard million times.”
“This time I have a feeling it works. Because, yeah I think it
is,” Harry stated.
“Okay, we will see,” the man responded and then asked with a
curious tone, “Anyway, who's she?”
Harry sighed and said, “My girl.”
“Whoah your date?” That man asked again, "Haven't seen you,
pretty girl."
I turned my face to the annoying guys next to me and gave them a
glance because I knew this time they mentioned my existence in their
conversation. Someone that stood between me and Harry might be the same one
that called Harry two times. I thought he was the Will guy.
“I have my own date and it's not you, curly. So, shut up, dudes,”
I said.
“Whoah. You got the different type, Haz,” Will clapped his hands
and tried to keep his laugh, “What's your name my lady?”
“She's Taylor. And no, she has no date afterall. She came alone.”
Harry cut me in with smirk, trolling me.
I almost replied him with sarcasm, but Will looked at me with
amusing face, and said, “If Harry has no chance, then, I really am able to
accompany you. I'm Will. William Frey. Harry's college friend.”
“You have a new last name, Will, if I'm right,” Harry corrected,
making Will pouting his mouth and drank his whiskey that had come minutes ago.
He responded, “Shut up, Harry.”
“From what I see, I guess you are kiddos trapped in a night club.
Go back to your room, finish your college essay, and sleep, boys. Club didn't
allow children to be here,” I stated.
I continued to say with proud, “And, please, noted, you'll open
your eyes because my boyfriend will bring me to his home after this bash.”
“You don't know me well, Tay-Tay. You may be surprised,” Harry
stated.
I shrugged and replied “I don't, and I don't want to.”
Will laughed and tapped both Harry and my shoulder. “I like sassy
Taylor. Just like me. Harry just jealous of us.”
I couldn't help but laughed because Will was me as a man. Harry
seemed not to like my words and just stared at me.
Will and I kept talking random things until all the lights were
turned off but the main light around DJ table. We suddenly turned our gazes to
the dance floor. It was so full now.
I could see Stephany on the other side of the stage. There was
Enrique standing there at the back of DJ table with microphone being a
presenter or mc or something like that to present DJ Jack Reed, “Give shouts to
the special guest of the night, DJ JACK REED!”
I smiled, brought my handbag, and stood from my seat. I was about
to walk, but someone held my wrist. “Where you going?”
“None of your business, Harold,” I replied with glare.
Will smirked, loosened my hand from Harry's who still sat, and
said, “If you won't dance, just let her go, Haz. I'll go accompany her.”
I looked at a flirty Will who turned to be annoying like Harry, “I
can walk alone, Willy.”
“I can't take no," Will smirked.
“I didn't say no either, William Frey,” I gave up, getting a
rolling eyes from Will.
As if that wasn't enough, Harry and Will followed me to the dance
floor. I guessed those guys still arguing which one of them who was better to
accompany me in my back.
They were so annoying as hell that I wished I didn't sit in the
bar even they were somewhat hot and attracted me a lot. I admitted they were
handsome and good at styling themselves. “Okay, I hate you. You win this time,
Haz.”
“Let's make some noise, party people!” I could hear DJ Jack Reed
a.k.a Ron shouted.
Ron smiled and directed his gaze to people who were ready to start
dancing. I was afraid he would see me, it wasn't the right time he could see
me.
I decided to push Harry to be in front of me, making Harry
muttered, “What the hell, Tay?”
“You, a lil' fucker, shut up and just dance with me,” I put my
point finger to his lips and smiled at Harry.
His lips was cold and soft. I rub my finger to the corner of his
lips and pecked them. I looked at his lips, and something made me wanting to
just close the distance between us, but I couldn't do that. It wasn't right. I
had boyfriend.
He said, “You love it, so kiss that and you'll feel alright,”
Harry replied with smile.
He moved his head close to me slowly. I turned my eyes again to
distract myself. I gave him a little smile, he just replied me with a shrug.
I looked at Harry's sides. Strangers surrounded us, and that was
the time when I realized that I couldn't find Will around Harry and me,
"Where's blue eyed guy?"
“Will?” he asked, and I nodded.
He placed his hands on my bare shoulders. He looked at me right in
the eyes, making me speechless for seconds. God, did you love him so much so
you gave those beautiful eyes to him but not me?
He stopped me from night thinking with suddenly asking, “You like
him?”
“I was just asking because he was following me with you. Honestly,
I don't give a damn of what you all doing,” I said while turning my gaze and
continued, “Loose your hands, boy.”
He loosened his hands and gave me a shrug, “You trust Will and
think I'm still a teenage boy in college?”
“Whatever, I'm tired to answer your stupid questions. I just wanna
dance,” I blinked my right eye at him and chuckled, “By the way, I like your
suit.
I saw Ron who now was DJing in the DJ table. He was so hot like really
hot, and I realized that from the very first time that we met. He seemed so
tired, but I didn't know why he looked like that, it might be that he was way
too busy now doing his job. I was so proud of him.
I looked around and realized that the dance floor was huge, and
the lights were dim. The dance floor was noisy and crowded. People were
dancing, following the music.
Most of them were A-list artists and models in Hollywood. They
were drunk obviously because the smell in here was just the same smell like a
big bottle of alcohol poured its liquid to all of us from the air. It was a
wild night.
Their hands were raised, and I heard them singing passionately to
the intro of this popular song by Zedd featuring Troye Sivan. It was Papercut.
Whoah, I loved this song. Ron opened his performance by remixing one of our
favorite Zedd's songs.
I couldn't help myself not to follow what the crowds did. When the
first drop was heard, I invited Harry who was surprised to see me because of
how different I was when I was at the bar and when I was at the dance floor to
dance.
I said, “Don't be surprised. I love Troye. Let's forget and spend
the time with dancing and jumping, Harry.”
I danced wildly like no one was watching, and Harry followed me
too. We were dancing weirdly. When everyone was jumping, we did waltz dance.
"You know Taylor, I never did waltz dancing on the club before
this," Harry said with chuckled.
He looked like twenty something hot man trapped in a college
student body which was weird but cute. I laughed at this dance and the thought
of Harry.
I placed my left hand to his right shoulder and closed my eyes
while singing. I suddenly changed our style of dancing with jump after I heard
the second times of Troye sang ‘I reached for you, and remember it was just a
paper, just a papercut.’ lyric. The dance floor now felt like spinning.
That was an intense dance I had ever had. It was also the
strangest dance I ever had because it was the first dance that I let a stranger
accompany me during dancing, I never did that before.
Harry said jokingly, “That was sick! Who are you drunk person?”
“I'm Troye Sivan. Thank you, Mr. Harry,” I replied making Harry
and I laughed together.
Our jokes now were so lame. I might be a lil' drunk by now because
of a half bottle of wine's effect, you knew?
The first song played had ended, I looked forward to the next
songs. I remembered he said in our video call that he would play his remix of
five famous songs, including Roses from The Chainsmokers featuring ROZES.
I had met Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall one time because Ron
invited me to see them as he had opened their performance in Hakkasan Club, Las
Vegas. I was invited by Ron to the backstage of the club and I got to meet the
guys.
Ron introduced me as his sister to those Disc Jokey. Okay, this
commitment to make this relationship just for two of us sometimes sucked me a
lot. I was angry to Ron that night, but I didn't really care about it now, this
relationship was ours, not to be consumed by people.
***
Four songs had played. The last three songs after Zedd's were
songs by Avicii, Tiësto, and Steve Aoki. Ron killed the night as usual.
That meant one more song left to be played by Ron. Harry was still
beside me, accompanying me to continue dancing. He was such a party boy, “You
party boy, I need to leave you here. Is it okay?”
“I'm not party boy. I'm a Rock and Roll die hard fan,” Harry said
and continued, “I don't want you to leave only with yourself. I don't have
person to talk to except you though.”
“I’m gonna find Stephanie to meet my boyfriend. I'm afraid she'll
hate to see you with me and yeah you'll be jealous of me and my man,” I stated
with a shrugged.
“C'mon. You'll need me, I don't care about Steph, and yeah I'm
jealous. Who's that lucky dude? Is he hotter than me?”
I rolled my eyes and gave up, “You asked too many questions, you
must be a Law student, ain't ya’?”
“Sorry? You're terrible at guessing,” he said and laughed.
I rolled my eyes for thousand times, “Geez. Whatever you say,
babe.”
“Babe. It feels good to hear you called me with that. I really
love it,” he responded flirty. I could see his cheeky grin.
I walked my feet carefully, passing people who had danced, with
Harry in front of me. I didn't want to take a risk to have problem by crushing
them. Harry reached my hand and held it with his hand. I felt somewhat warm and
safe by holding on his touch. He wasn't that bad as I thought he was.
Harry stopped his step in the right side of dance floor. It was a
bit close with DJ table, but I was sure Ron couldn't see me. He was busy.
There were Steph, Enrique, and two sexy girls that I often saw
posing in Victoria's Secret's Instagram who were Steph's model friends. I found
myself jealous of how beautiful they were.
They stopped their dancing because Harry appeared around them.
They suddenly looked at Harry's left hand that held my hand.
I bit my lips. I loosened my hand from Harry's, and smiled
awkwardly. Harry stared at me and gave me a shrugh, saying, “Okay, I get it.”
“Steph, ugh,” I said nervously.
“Yeah, Tay. What's up?” Steph asked and continued, “Does this guy
annoy you?”
I took a glance to Harry who pretended not to hear what Steph's
friends said to him, such flirty things. I sighed, “Yes, he does. All the
time.”
“No, I don't,” Harry defended himself.
“He lied. Don't listen to him, Steph. Ugh, by the way, can I go to
the backstage?” I asked.
Steph furrowed her eyebrow, “Sure, you can. But what do you wanna
do in that place?”
I didn't want anyone to hear this, so I whispered to Steph's ear,
“I wanna meet Jack Reed. But, don't tell anyone. Okay?”
Steph nodded and said to Enrique, “Babe, I want to bring her to—,
umm— just please keep Harry staying in here.”
“Yumi and I will accompany Harry, Stephanie. Don't worry, he'll be
safe with us,” one of the model said.
She was Rachel Hilbert, blinking her eye toward Harry. The other
Asian one was Yumi Lambert. Oh My God! Angels were everywhere.
Harry rolled his eyes, pouting his mouth, and sighed, “Nope.
Enrique, let's find Willy. I have no interest now to have a talking session
with these chicks,”
Harry then left with Enrique. He gave me smirks, yet he just
ignored some angels. How could angels be ignored by a man?
Steph walked in front of me to the backstage, leaving the girls. I
smiled to them before I went to follow her because I didn't want them having
bad impression of me.
As we arrived, the intro of Roses started to be played. Steph
asked, “I didn't know you are a fan of his. I mean as I remember, you love pop,
country, and rock genres.”
“I still love it, but currently I like to hear EDM songs because
of Jack. He influences me a lot,” I replied with happiness.
“You love music and literature too much even you are bachelor of
Economics. I don't understand you, Tay.”
“I don't understand myself either, Steph. I let myself be whoever
my brain wants me to be,” I responded.
I'm so sorry for the late update :(
also sorry for my graMmAR mIstAKeS :((
